Frequently asked questions
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Your photos are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Which option is safest?
A black box. It replaces the pixels completely, so nothing underneath can be recovered. Blur and pixelation are fine for faces in the background, but text can sometimes be guessed from them.
Can the hidden area be undone later?
No. The change is made in the saved file itself, not as a layer on top, so there's nothing to remove.
Can I hide several areas?
Yes. Draw as many as you like. Each one is listed, and you can remove any of them or undo the last.
What about the photo's location details?
The saved file has none, because it's made fresh from the picture.
