Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The code contains your text directly. It isn't a redirect through our site, so it keeps working forever.
Which error correction level should I choose?
Medium (M) suits most uses. Choose Q or H if the code will be printed on something that may get scuffed or if you will add a logo. Higher levels make the pattern denser.
What kinds of QR code can I make?
A link or any text, a Wi-Fi code that joins a network, a contact card (vCard), an email with a subject and message, a phone number to call, and a text message. Choose the type at the top.
PNG or SVG?
Use SVG for print and anything that must scale without blurring. Use PNG for web pages, slides and messaging apps.
Is the text I enter uploaded?
No. The code is generated in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
