Frequently asked questions
How do I turn an hourly rate into a yearly salary?
Multiply your hourly rate by your hours per week and by the paid weeks in a year. At 25 an hour, 40 hours and 52 weeks, that is 52,000 a year.
Can I turn a salary into an hourly rate?
Yes. Choose Year, enter your salary, and read the hourly figure, which divides the year by your hours per week times paid weeks.
What if I have unpaid time off?
Lower the paid weeks per year. Using 50 instead of 52 takes two unpaid weeks off the total.
Is the result before or after tax?
Before tax and deductions. It shows gross pay, so your take-home pay will be lower.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser and nothing is sent to us.
